I’m also facing the same problem all of a sudden. Maybe the support is dropped for this version???

I dont think that would cause crashes unless you update to a nwer version outside of the Play Store. I’m not sure, though.

I’m using the same 1.60.125 version. Tried reinstalling from APKMirror, still same issues. 1.60.125 is the latest version for Android 7 as per APKMirror.

Why dont u use 1.75?

Don’t know, why do I get this when I’m on Android 7? Why the sudden crashing when I didn’t change any settings or anything else?

I have the same problem! Yesterday and this morning everything was normal, it crashed in the two hours i was away, and now it crashes in literally 1-2 seconds every time i try to open it!

Everything i have is on Brave! I haven’t been avle to do anything for the whole day! I had to go back to Google Chrome to get on this site and i hate it!

It does not say it’s incompatible for me though. It just says that i don’t have enough memory space and shows me that even if i deleted all my other apps like it demabds (Netflix, Spotify, YT Studio, Google Docs, Google Chrome) i STILL woukdn’t have enough memory for the update.

This sht is ruining my great day. I just want to use deviantart.

Wel it’s good that you’re posting, the more people report the higher the chance the developers see the issues. But it would help them if everyone who posted in here also included their device model, Android version and Brave version.

My device is Samsung Galaxy On8, running Android 7 Nougat, Brave browser version 1.60.125. Tried downgrading Android System WebView, still it is crashing :smiling_face_with_tear:
Hope Brave does something so that people won’t start going back to Google Chrome

I too went back to Chrome after it started crashing

1.60.125 is the latest version for Android 7 :smiling_face_with_tear:

Version 1.61.109 Apparently.

Lenovo TB-X605F. Android 9.

Also commenting just to bolster visibility, my tablet and phone have this. What gives, you know?

What device models, OS versions and Brave versions? The developers need all the info they can get.

Same over here, Android 7, Brave 1.60.125 latest I think for this.
It only started happening today a few hours ago and it kept spamming my system with the “Brave keeps stopping” message, even during phonecalls.
I can’t do anything with it now. Also I did not do anything with the browser, I rarely use it.
Crashes about 2-3 seconds when opening and loading.

Device is a Motorola Moto G5

same on my old samsung tablet.

Third day. Situation unchanged, keeps crashing. I get a “Brave keeps stopping” notification if i try to open it multiple times quickly enough.

It was the weekend, give the developers some time to respond.

This is still an issue.
