I’ve been using Brave for a couple of years now.
Since the beginning, there’s a weird glitch with copying/pasting.
When I highlight some text and right click > copy, it will stay highlighted for a few seconds, then unhighlight, and it will paste whatever the last previous thing I copied was.
I have to highlight it, let it ‘unhilight’, then highlight it again, and it will properly copy/paste.
It’s been doing this consistently from the beginning.

I’m using MacOS Sierra 10.12.6

Version 1.25.73 Chromium: 91.0.4472.106 (Official Build) (x86_64)
I only use Brave and Chrome, it doesn’t do it on Chrome.
Very strange. Have you uninstalled/reinstalled Brave since you began using it?
No, but I’ve updated it every time a new one’s available.
Can you try downloading a new installer for Brave, and then rerunning it? Don’t delete your current browser files, just run the installer as-is.
