Description of the issue:
Cookies that I enter as “always can use” in Brave seem to ERASE their entries in my browser at brave://settings/cookies whenever I restart the browser. Which, um, sux.
I frequently use the boomergang extension on Chrome/Safari/Brave for use with Gmail, but the exceptions I add in Brave never persist.
The only way around this is to change the site settings for Gmail to allow all cookies which - frankly - I’d not do.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Add the exception, enjoy using the cookies, upgrade or restart browser and see that the cookies which I added are gone.
- Confirmed that the “Block all Cookies” and “Clear all Cookies” are OFF
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
What it looks like when I’m using the browser after having added the exception:
After restarting, ANY exceptions that I’ve entered (in this case, bg4.baydin.com) are removed from my entries.
Expected result:
I except my cookie exceptions to remain static.
Reproduces how often:
ALWAYS.
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave
page in the main menu):
Version 1.36.83 Chromium: 98.0.4758.87 (Official Build) beta (x86_64)
