I just downloaded the newest Brave browser and my GMail fails to load because of a “cookie mismatch”. I added “www.google.com” to the whitelist and allowed all cookies as well as clearing all the cache and old cookies out. I can load my account at Youtube though so I’m confused how I’m getting a cookie mismatch?
Try authenticating into gmail with Shields down first. Once you log in, you should be able to re-enable Shields and be able to log back in without issue.
Alternatively, you can manually set Brave to allow Gmail cookies, but it has to be in the proper format:
Try entering the domain in the following format:
https://[*.]mail.google.com:443
