@andrewbacon, just a heads-up: when you encounter a website that doesn’t let you interact with it or seems phased out, it’s often because it’s trying to display a cookie consent banner or an ad. Disabling Shields will likely reveal the cookie consent banner, like this:
Once you accept the consent, you can turn Shields back on, and the site should work fine. However, this is not the usual behavior. If you encounter content that requires disabling Shields to interact with it, please report it. Reporting helps the team update filters so that sites can’t block access unless you interact with their notices.
