Convert spaces in URLs

#1

Most browsers convert spaces in URLs to %20 or +, so I can type URLs like duckduckgo.com/?q=cabrillo point and end up at https://duckduckgo.com/?q=cabrillo+point (yes, I actually do that). Brave seems to leave such URLs alone, which means I end up at a search engine with duckduckgo.com/?q=cabrillo point as the search query… which is not what I wanted. Yes, I could configure some more search shortcuts for the sites that I use like this, but it would be more convenient for me personally and more conventional to just convert these spaces in URL params and go directly to the resource requested. Possible? Desirable?
