I’ve got an old Bookmarks file from a Brave Beta release and I’d like to either convert or import it into the version I’m currently using (stable channel, 0.59.35).
Is there a way to do this, aside from writing a script that parses the JSON and writes a Netscape-style bookmarks file (which is what is currently exported by Brave)?
The standard import bookmarks tool can import bookmark HTML files. I am not sure about JSON files, though. I believe it normally exports as HTML as well, so I am not sure how your bookmarks ended up in JSON format!
In brave://bookmarks/, click on the menu in the top right corner and click “import bookmarks” and select the file.
