I need to change which phone appears in Brave to set up a Security Key. Brave displays an old phone but does not give me the open to add a new phone. The new phone is synced with Brave.

You should be able to go to brave://settings/securityKeys
and select Reset your security key

Sorry, each time I attempt to navigate to brave://settings/securityKeys, Brave removes the securityKeys destination and reverts to brave://settings. My version of Brave is: 1.69.162. Brave tells me it is up-to-date.

Apologies but I’m not quite sure I understand exactly what’s happening — you’re saying that when you go to brave://settings/securityKeys
it instead just takes you back to brave://settings
?
Apologies for the long wait here , just getting back from some PTO. Not entirely sure what’s causing it but it is likely only tied to your profile. Can you try creating a new temp. profile (Menu —> More tools --> Add profile
), then closing the window with your old profile, then in the new one go to brave://settings/securityKeys
and confirm that you’re able to view this page there?
