Description of the issue:
Across various different websites and at different times of day I am receiving constant crashing of web pages and receiving the ‘STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION’ error message. I have removed any recent Extensions that were installed so that the only ones in use are ones that I have had for several years without issues, but it persists.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Open a web page or just be on a web page. It doesn’t always happen on launch. Sometimes the page can be open for 5, 10 minutes and then it crashes.
Expected result:
Web pages to not crash.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.74.50 Chromium: 132.0.6834.111 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Forwarding these crash reports to the team for review. In the meantime, I would be interested to see if you get the same results if you try visiting sites in a fresh profile (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile) without any browsing data/extensions enabled.
Are there solutions for this? I currently have version 1.75.178 Chromium: 133.0.6943.98 (Official Build) (64-bit) and keep getting the error. Especially when submitting forms (POST requests).

Was on Reddit and LinkedIn when the crashes happened.
@jaydizzle25 I do apologize for the long wait here. I still have not heard back with any real update – I have just now asked again and have also shared @unix’s reports as well.
@Mattches Regret to inform since last Brave update to v1.75.181 (Chromium 133.0.6943.141) I keep having the same issue. Frequent crashing of Brave (Status_Access_Violation) with about twelve tabs open in Windows 11 23H2 (build 22631.4974) on a Razer system with 32GB RAM. What gives?
The above ones were not uploaded it seems, the others were. I was running Decentraleyes, Privacy Badger and Google’s web RTC limiter in addition to a customized version of uBlock origin, never had a problem before but now it seems it’s all too much. I erased the Microsoft store version and downloaded the version off Brave’s website which doesn’t seem to have changed anything. Sorry, don’t have a Masters in computer science or coding.
Ok…uploaded them. Of interest should also be that in the Microsoft store version the Tor option did not crash but now it does in my new download. Go figure.
One more:
Local Crash Context: 1ba883b2-d9ff-4ba0-9972-b4a0941287e0
I am only running with uBo currently.
@24hourtourist,
We’ll need the crash report ID that is shown after the reports are submitted. The IDs should end with all 0’s – something like dacc0000-2809-c60c-0000-000000000000
As I wrote: I’m not a coder nor do I have a masters in computer science.

Btw now I am also getting other error messages, i.e. “Status_Breakpoint” after easing some duplicate uBo duplicate filters.
I also have too many STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION crashes on random sites… See SS with crash report ID which i sent already… its been happening for last 4-5 days.
I have latest ver of brave installed on my windows 11 ent pc with CPU 14900k and 4090 GPU…
Reinstalled Brave and Win 11 but no luck…
+1 getting these crashes constantly, just started over past couple days. possibly related to win11 version? not sure, still investigating. looking forward to brave stability. much thanks.
Hello, i have the Same problem occuring simce some time. Ive deleted all my browser datas as recommended, did not help.
i then reinstalled the browser completely which helped for some days, now the problem is reoccuring after some minutes (and seems to get worse and more often for me over time)
