Cloudflare loop on some profiles but not all

I use multiple profiles (10+) and for some reason certain profiles enter a “loop” when attempting to go through Cloudflare’s “Verify you are human” process. Most of my profiles pass as expected but a few simply enter a loop. I’ve disabled all extensions, deleted all browsing history, added Cloudflare’s DNS to my IP settings, etc but still cannot get past this looping problem on specific profiles. Suggestions?

Update: I fought w/ this for 30+ minutes to no avail. After seeing mod instructions to add OS, Brave version, etc I tried it one more time and it worked. I’ve seen this dozens of times on various websites. I can’t imagine what “fixed” it suddenly…

MacOS 15.4, Brave 1.76.82, specific website encountering this problem today:

Please edit your Original Post (“OP”) above, in order to include:

  • Brave Browser version numbers
  • Operating System version numbers
  • List at least a few webpages where you encounter:

Cloudflare’s “Verify you are human” process.

. . . . per Profile:

Profile A:

  • webpage
  • webpage
  • webpage

Whatever info you can offer, that is NOT private. Three Profiles will be enough.

WHERE you encounter the Cloudflare loop, you might get some kind of an alert, a popup with a message, that includes a Ray ID:

Report the Ray ID for the webpages where the Cloudflare robot keeps looping.

@apwkdtb

OK, for https://www.applied.com

Using Brave Browser (MacOS), I get: Ray ID: 92ec222e4f556aee

@apwkdtb

Might you test that webpage - using each Profile?

@apwkdtb

I used Firefox for testing the https://www.applied.com website.

First Firefox Developer Tools > Network window:

I had to Disable the uBlock Origin extension I had installed on Firefox.

Second Firefox Developer Tools > Network window:

I made sure, that no firewall or software was blocking the cloudflare.com domain ← for TCP and UDP ports.

Then I clicked on the Cloudflare robot’s checkbox:

. . . and the https://www.applied.com website finally responded.

Third Firefox Developer Tools > Network window:

Brave team member @fanboynz has an interest in Brave Web Compatibility, and he might know of some way to set up Brave Browser or Brave Adblock -type filtering or Brave Shields, in order to get Brave Browser to maintain Privacy and Security while also succeeding at getting past the Cloudflare robot(s).

@fanboynz knows how to use the Ray ID numbers.

04/11/2025 Friday UPDATE . . .

I just borrowed a Windows OS 11 PC, running Brave Browser - a New Private Window, and visited:

  • https://www.applied.com

The website mumbled something about allowing JavaScript.

I used the Site-Specific Brave Shields (Lion icon - right end: off the URL address field), in order to allow JavaScripts for Cloudflare.

Had to revisit the Site-Specific Brave Shields settings, three times, plus a reload of the webpage . . . et Viola!

That worked.
