Closing Find popup in a Brave window returns user to wrong window

Description of the issue:
When closing “Find on page” Brave shifts to a different window than the one I was searching on.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Brave
  2. Visit any website, then press CMD + F to open Find popup
  3. Use the swipe feature on a mac trackpad to switch to another fullscreen Brave window
  4. Swipe back to the first window with Find open and close the small Find popup

Actual Result:
Brave closes the Find popup but switches back to the second window where Find was not being used

Expected Result:
Brave closes the Find popup and stays on that same window

Always

Brave Version:
Brave release - V1.23.71

Reproducible on current live release:
Yes but also present before this version

Additional information:
I’m using a 13" 2016 MacBook Pro with macOS Big Sur 11.2.3
