Mac OS 12.0.1 (did this on 11.6 as well).

Been checked over by Mac repair, they would not check Brave, only Chrome and Safari. They checked machine including T2 chip.Complete OS reinstall,
Does not happen on other browsers.
Happens when no other add-ons installed.
Update. It was using my crappy Samsung ear buds, I use another pair, problem solved.
Clicking sound sometimes accompanied by sound very very briefly switching to speaker and back again.
No clicking using Bluetooth earbuds.
Tried running brave without other apps; running same result.
SSD 500Mb capacity, currently 2/3 full.
