Clicking Shields while in a Google Meet session crashes the browser

Description of the issue:

Clicking the shields icon in a Google Meet session crashes the browser

Steps to Reproduce:

1. While in a video session with Google Meet, regardless if camera or microphone is active
2. Click the Shields Icon

Actual Result:

Browser crashes

Expected result:

Shields window opening

Reproduces how often:

Every time

Operating System and Brave Version:

Manjaro Linux, Version 21.2.6 (64-bit) and macOS 11.6.5

Brave Version 1.38.119 Chromium: 101.0.4951.67 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional information

The Google Meet tab does not need to be in focus, I can make the browser crash even if I am in another tab

Brave crashes at the time of clicking on 'Brave Shields'

@Ashik640, Perhaps this is the issue you’re encountering? Go to brave://flags, search for a flag called #extensions-toolbar-menu and set the value for it to Disabled. Make sure you relaunch the browser when prompted. Now see if you get the same results.

Can you please trigger a crash and sned me the crash report ID of the crash found on brave://crashes (note that you may have to click “send crash report” on the page if automatic crash reporting is not enabled)?
