Description of the issue: upon clicking new-tab-page search box, said instance of brave instantly crashes.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Download brave.
- Go to: “brave://new-tab-page/”
- Click the search query box.
Expected result: To be able to search, not crash.
Brave Version: v1.78.94 (latest)
Additional Information: I tried fully reinstalling brave, with no cookies, extensions or history, that didn’t work. I did restart my pc and followed all basic troubleshooting steps. I can’t type anything in the search box, it seems like it either is fully disabled or it fully breaks brave. I can use the search box above though.
