Recategorized to Legacy (Muon) category.

Hi @snovik,
Thanks for reporting.

This is a known common issue with the old Brave (0.25.x is the latest version for this build). This issue will not be fixed for the old Brave, but this issue does fixed with the new Brave. https://github.com/brave/browser-laptop/issues/5775

Brave is on migration process to Chromium front-end that will fixed many issue that found in the old Muon version.

Please try the new Brave from brave.com/download

You can run it in parallel then import your browser data from the old Brave.

Thanks

Well, I updated to 0.25 and still have the same problem. Alt-shift brings me the menu…

Btw the menu is not activated on Alt alone, only on Alt+Shift. So the link above addresses another issue

#7

It’s not the current version.
The newest version is: Version 0.56.12 Chromium: 70.0.3538.77

You should update to the latest version, and then see if the problem is still there (if so, a new topic under “Support and Troubleshooting” -> “Desktop Support”, since the category where we are now has (apparently) become an archive since yesterday).

Important(!): The update function in your version does not yet support updating to the latest (Chromium) version.

Here is a quick guide:
Go to brave.com/download
Download the BraveBrowserSetup
Delete your current Brave version
Start the BraveBrowserSetup file (should download & install automatically)

Good luck
