Clarification about contrasting information about rewards on Linux

Briefly describe your issue:

I can’t understand the information Brave gives me about rewards of October 2022.
Since yesterday on my “New Tab” page it shows earnings: 2.576 BATs. However, If I open the brave://rewards page, nothing is shown, i.e.

Current earnings this month (estimated) 0.000BAT 0.00 USD

Next payment date is empty (used to be 6 November)

Ads received this month 0

Also, checking the “30 days Ads history” it shows 0, when there were quite a lot of ads there until at least the day before.

See added screenshots.

Also, I would like to add that I’m not receiving ads anymore in Brave News or Notifications since yesterday 31/10…

Seems to have fixed itself. For now, at least. I tried launching latest nightly, which asked me about my country. After that, earnings and Next payment dates are shown correctly in settings even when latest stable is launched.

Can’t really point out the culprit, though.

Probably you hadn’t selected the country yet, not sure though.

Very, strange, because it was working beautifully until yesterday. It is also working beautifully on my Android.
Thank you for you help, anyway

Anytime you see something like this-

give it some time or a relaunch generally works.
