Certain Websites Are Not Fully Functional (such as login/account access)

Description of the issue:
Certain websites do not have full functionality. For instance, I do quite a bit of shopping at this Japanese website. In Brave the “login”, “account” and “member registration” hyperlinks in the top bar do not work. http://shop.rasmile.co.jp/

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Merely go to the above URL and try to sign up for an account. For those that do not speak Japanese, merely install the Google Translate extension . It works very well. Then you can see the 3 options on the menu bar.

Mind you, I thought perhaps the translate extension might be interfering (as opposed to it being Brave), but after uninstalling it, the site still has no functionality. In addition, I turned off the shield completely just to be sure that blocking any portion of the site might be the culprit. Shields fully down, and no happiness.

There is nothing to see - because the links just don’t work. Otherwise, I would have included a screencap.

Expected result:
None of the 3 menu options will take you to the indicated page. Nothing happens. It SHOULD take you to a page to fill out your personal information to create an account, or if a returning customer, it should take you to a login page - neither happens.

Reproduces how often:
Each time. The functionality never works.

Brave Version(about:brave):
Brave is up to date
Version 0.59.35 Chromium: 72.0.3626.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Absolutely. I have experienced at least one update between attempts to access my account on this particular site. I had to finally resort to using Chrome, where it works just fine.

Additional Information:

None I can think of other than I am very excited that there is a browser I like to replace Chrome. I’m tired of being a commodity to be bought and sold without my consent.

I was able to reproduce this on my end. I’ve reached out to the team for some additional input. If we can’t find a workaround I will log this issue myself for the team to further review.
