Ccleaner erasing saved logins

I’ve been having an issue with ccleaner for the last year. its deleting my saved logins to web sites and Its behaving differently on cleaning other browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

I have the same ccleaner settings across all three browsers, yet my saved passwords and logins don’t get erased on Firefox and edge, but do get erased on Brave.

The ccleaner help forums don’t have a clue why their program is operating differently.

Can anybody with Brave have any suggestions?

The checked settings are;
internet cache, internet history, cookies, download history, last download location.

The unchecked settings are;
Session, site preferences, saved forms, saved passwords, compact databases, bookmark backup, crash reports.

What I am expecting with these settings is for the junk to be cleaned, to free up computer space, but not the login information to be erased, so even after cleaning when I go back to say youtube it automatically logs me back in on startup.

that isn’t happening with brave, but is with Firefox and Edge.

Any ideas why this difference is happening?

@Midnightvisions unfortunately this is a 3rd party program you’re using that is causing an issue and would not be something that anyone from Brave can really assist with. And even other users like myself are going to be limited on what advice can be offered

Most likely it means you have selected to delete areas where passwords are kept or there is a glitch with their software. And needless to say I don’t feel like installing it to test if it will erase all my information. The headache isn’t worth it.

Btw, you know you can delete everything from Brave, right? All of the things you mentioned are options via Delete Browsing Data where you can even set it to happen On Exit by default. It may be better and safer to do it that way rather than a 3rd party program.

@Saoiray - IIRC, you referred me to that info; tx.
