Can't we store our BAT tokens in Brave wallet?

I am having a gemini wallet, but I am unable to shift my BAT reward tokens to it becasue of an error

Error: region not supported
Unfortunately, your Brave Rewards cannot be verified because your region is not supported for Brave Rewards verification at this time.

So I thought of using the brave wallet itself to store my reward tokens. Is it possible to use the brave wallet?
