Can't stream FLAC content using Jellyfin on Linux PC

Description of the issue: Brave causes Jellyfin to transcode FLAC files to 256 Kbps TS AAC. I have tested Chromium, Chrome and Firefox on Linux/Arch/EndeavourOS PC and Brave Mobile, Jellyfin Mobile, Finamp on mobile. They all just direct stream without transcoding but when using Brave on Linux PC my panel says that Jellyfin is transcoding the content to 256 Kbps TS AAC.

Exact URL of the website in question: A self-hosted Jellyfin instance.

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
No.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
Yes.

Brave version (check About Brave):

Brave	1.57.47 Chromium: 116.0.5845.96 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Revision	180d2fdf443f9be410c38fd8c4ccfe7e99ea2b16
OS	Linux
JavaScript	V8 11.6.189.18
User Agent	Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/116.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Had the chance to ask someone else using KDE Neon to try it with Brave. Looks like it works. Now not sure if this is a Brave, OS or dependency problem.

Looks like it was because of a client-side configuration… I think this post shouldn’t even exist in this forum so if a moderator can delete it it may be better.

I can confirm the same thing occurs with .flac/.m4a content when accessing self hosted jellyfin server using brave on a mac

safari, firefox, chrome all play fine as do remote clients accessing the server remotely, its just via brave.

Have tried shields up and down

Let me know if I can provide logs

Brave is up to date
