Can't stop receiving ads in Twitter

#1

I’m just changing over from Firefox where I do not have this problem. I keep getting ads in tweets and I don’t want them. I have set “Do Not Track” in Security. My Twitter settings can’t be the problem because the problem does not exist in Firefox.

Those ads might be 1st part ads (ads that come from the the site itself) and 1st part ads can not be blocked by Brave at the moment, but I will take a look in a couple of days :+1:

I believe the team is working on this to make it a feature in the future.

Hi camposino,

I follow these steps at https://medium.com/@jonathansampson/testing-chrome-extensions-in-brave-8e25d1f7386d to add Ublock Origon extension. Use chrome extensions to copy it into brave extension Open up Ublock Origon by going to open to dashboard and click the I am an advanced user (required reading), And go to https://filterlists.com/ and select the ads blockers on that site to add to the custom lists.

thanks

FYI I think that Ublock Origon extension should be a default extension under extensions.
