Can't remove the repository

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. i tried to install brave browser
  2. i did not get a successful install
    3.i tried to remove all traces of brave
  3. i am getting errors while updating in response to the brave repository (log file below)

$ sudo apt update

  1. sudo apt remove brave-browser
    sudo apt purge brave-browser
    rm -rf ~/.config/BraveSoftware
    rm -rf ~/.cache/BraveSoftware

$ sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list

$ sudo apt purge brave-browser brave-keyring

Expected result:
i was hopeful to no longer see a list of errors while updating because i attempted to install “Brave”

i see you use debian based distro but the link of the repo you use are an onion based link and it’s blocked and it for nightly version

so use those for release

and those for nighlty
