Can't Recieve Brave Rewards

My region (India) is not supported to accept BAT rewards since the last month. My wallet automatically get disconnected from brave browser last month and I can no longer receive BAT rewards to my custodial wallet (Neither Uphold nor Gemini).
Why Brave don’t allow us to accept BAT rewards directly to Brave Wallet so that everyone can receive BAT without any
custodial wallet problem.
Will I be allowed to accept BAT rewards again in future to my uphold or Gemini Wallet ?
Are Brave Dev planing integrate Brave Wallet to accept BAT rewards directly to Brave Wallet in future update?

Words matter, so let me correct you. India is supported to accept BAT. You are able to view ads, earn BAT, and claim them in your browser where it will be stored. The restriction is that you can’t move your BAT to am exchange, such as Gemini or Uphold at this time.

Because governments require KYC/AML and other things. Brave doesn’t want to do that. They also don’t want to get Money Transmitter Licenses and other things that would cost them a lot of time, money, and stress. So if you want to turn BAT into cash, you have no choice but to use an exchange and do KYC/AML.

Yes. Your region will be one of the next ones added back. They restored France not long ago and next in line was supposed to be India. But in the process they thought Brazil was ready and tried to add it, but they had issues and had to remove Brazil again within 24 hours. After that, they are being very careful not to add regions again until they know things are complete. Brazil and India should be added again very soon if all goes well. Worst case though, should be by the end of next month.

Yes and no. There are still details to be worked out, but they did announce that next year we will have Rewards integration with Brave Wallet. But this doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t have to use an exchange to convert it to cash. They are hoping to put the final touches in Q4 of this year and then to release it to us in Q1 of next year, but there’s possibilities of some delays.
