Hello @Jakye

could you answer the following

  1. how did you install brave using snap or https://brave.com/linux/#linux
  2. did that headset work on other browser (specially chrome) on the same device with the same os (ubuntu)?

go to brave://settings/content/usbDevices and brave://settings/content/serialPorts and make sure they enabled

I have Sony wh-1000xm4 here, the pausing/playback is at the OS level, like using the media controls on your keyboard

Hello @justsomeone1,

I used snap to install Brave. Thanks to @fanboynz for mentioning that pausing/playback is at the OS level. I tried to use the media controls on the keyboard and got the same “denied” notification. USB Devices and Serial ports are both turned on.

I have installed Chrome on the same OS and it works.

sorry @Jakye for late replay

i heard manytime that snap sometime brinf unexpected issue

Snap You can find Brave on the Snapcraft Store, but while it is maintained by Brave Software, it is not yet working as well as our official packages. We currently recommend that users who are able to use our official package repositories do so instead of using the Snap.

so i recommend that you use the offecial install method https://brave.com/linux/#linux
