Can't mute tab by clicking on "loudspeaker" icon after 0.57.18 update

How to replicate:

  1. Go to YouTube
  2. Play any video
  3. Click on “loudspeaker” icon on the YouTube tab
  4. The video continues to produce sound from this tab.

Expected outcome:

  • The “loudspeaker” icon crosses itself, signaling the tab is muted.
  • No more sound coming from this tab.

My device:

  • Operating System: macOS
