Can't load videos or pictures on Sankaku Complex

Description of the issue:
Pictures and videos don’t load.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
1: Go to the website.
2: Click on video or picture link.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Doesn’t load.

Expected result:
Video starts playing / picture loads.

Reproduces how often:
Always

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10, Brave V1.12.114

Additional Information:
I’ve had this problem for about a month or so, and hoped that it would fix itself.
I tried fixing the error by contacting support on the website itself, but they said they couldn’t help me because the error is caused by “broken referrer handling”.
I tried some solutions from here, but produced no results. Tips?

I’m having the same problem. Images on chan.sankakucomplex.com don’t load. They just display the image brutalfan posted above. This occurs on both desktop and android and no other browser has this issue.

Same for me, chan.sankakucomplex.com doesn’t work. Works only preview. But sankakucomplex.com works fine.

Me too, can’t see any image other than the logo and also when clicking the source image or orginial image, it doesn’t show anything but the logo too.

Just some testing on https://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/21521729 (NSFW)

I did get the stretched logo, this fix from what I see:

  • Clear cookies
  • Allow all cookies in Shields
  • Reload page

This seems to fix it, I’m not getting the stretched logo . And the image is showing.

Same issue last month or so. Things like clearing data or using incognito mode still give the placeholder image. No issue in other browsers tested (Firefox and Chrome).

I got the same issue and it was browser related for me; The content did not load on Firefox but it worked well on Google Chrome…

I just installed Brave Browser today and I had the same problem
The solution is simply turn of the BRAVE SHIELD
and the site will reload and it will work!

Just encountered this problem today. Still happening.

I even created an account on Sankakucomplex. Logged in. No difference. Still loads a weird default image. Tested the same URL in Firefox and loaded no problem.

When to delete cookies for the website, loaded new test page with image. Still showing the placeholder image.

Just Allow all cookies in shields to fix this.
