Can't just open a pdf, have to save it

On some websites I cannot view the pdf, I have to download it. I have made sure the “Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Brave” is unchecked and also this doesn’t happen on all websites. However, I can easily view the same pdfs (without having to download them) on Chrome and Edge browsers.

Yes! I have this issue as well in Linux Version 1.22.71 Chromium: 89.0.4389.114 (Official Build) (64-bit).
It’s most annoying!
