Can't interact with browser's UI after opening a link in group

Description of the issue:
When I open a link in group, I can’t switch tabs until I swipe down. Can’t reproduce in Google Chrome.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Close all tabs
2. Open any website, scroll down until UI disappears
3. On this website, open any link in group

Expected result:
I should be able to interact with the UI when it’s on the screen. When the bottom panel is visible, tabs on it should be visible as well.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.73.104

I posted 3 screenshots from your video, for the benefit of OTHER members of the Brave Community. In addtion, I sought to make clear, that you were using Brave Search — ALL relevant, germaine, pertinent, and in regard to the issue.

This bug is not specific to Brave Search.

I am using an iPhone, iOS 17.7.2, Brave Browser 1.73 (97).

When I visit a website, for example - using Brave Search - and search as you had, and then scroll down the search results page . . .

The Brave Browser (iOS) User Interface (“UI”) portions:

UPPER:

LOWER:

both disappear.

And, when I want those UI portions to re-appear, I have to either:

• tap the topmost part of the iPhone screen, or
• swipe down.

Such is the case, for other websites that I visit.

Sometimes, I wish there was a Brave Browser (mobile devices) Settings switch, that would maintain the UI.

I am sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but it seems like you’re trolling me.

Your screenshot of the lower portion of UI doesn’t include tabs. I don’t know if you didn’t include them on purpose, or Brave on iOS doesn’t have tabs.

As you can see in my video, tabs didn’t disappear (and they shouldn’t, just like in Google Chrome), they’re on the screen. You can see how I tap on them, but nothing happens.

The UI disappearing, when moving down a webpage, is apparently “expected behavior.” The BB UI appearing/disappearing, aside . . .

With regard to the BB UI and the existing tabs . . . and, when you tap on any of them, “nothing happens”:

THAT is definitely an issue (possibly a bug) - and you might edit the title of your Original Post, changing to something like:

“Clicking tabs in Brave (Android) User Interface - but nothing happens”
