Can't install on Debian 10 (Buster)

Having followed general instructions given by Brave and other sites, I get an “E: Unable to locate package brave-browser”

Had no issues on Linux Mint, but unfortunately due to Mint being generally flaky, I’ve had to migrate to a stable OS in Debian.

Thanks, Ian

what is the output of cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list?

Installed gnome-terminal so can now copy and paste

deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main

so i have the same

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list

deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main

which gives me
$ apt-cache policy brave-browser

brave-browser:
Installed: 1.8.95
Candidate: 1.8.95

i have to ask the obvious of whether you ran apt update?
