Can't hear Facebook call

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Call another user through
  2. Allow the pop-up window to use the microphone and talk to the other user.
  3. Hear silence.

Expected result:
I would expect to hear the other person.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 0.70.122 Chromium: 78.0.3904.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Gmail calling also doesn’t seem to work.

Thanks for reaching out. Two suggestions:

  1. Open your Shields panel for the website (Fb or Gmail) and change the Device Recognition setting to Allow all... – try again after the page refreshes.
  2. Check to see if you’re blocking Autoplay on the page and if so, try allowing it to see if that helps resolve the problem.

Allowing device recognition seems to have worked, thank you!
