Description of the issue:
Can’t download more than one item per site, even after first download has long since completed. I found other similar reports here but didn’t see a resolution. This problem seems to go back at least 6 years.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Click a link to download a file. Let it finish (queuing would be nice though). Click another link. Nothing happens.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Cannot download subsequent attempts from the same page.

Expected result:
Ability to download subsequent links from the same page.

Reproduces how often:
Always

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
MacOS Sequoia 15.5 and Brave v1.80.115

Adding a note: BB (MacOS) cannot complete large downloads of .dmg installer files (and some others).

When running latest versions of Brave Browser (during the last 3 weeks of June 2025), MacOS 14.7.6 Sonoma. (Writing, here, w iPhone - no access to BB (MacOS) version numbers.)

I did not post a bug report; simply switched to Firefox, in order to get downloads work completed.

UPDATE - Note to self: there is another BB (MacOS) download problem:
‘No way to enable downloads from certain sources? [MacOS]’
