Briefly describe your issue:
I received the email from Uphold regarding the closure of accounts in Canada and promptly transferred all my funds out. I then followed the steps outlined in the forum article within Brave community guiding users in Canada on how to recieve the invite: I reset my Brave Rewards account, completed the Solana survey, and have been waiting for an invite to proceed.
It has now been over a month, and I have still not received the invite. As a result, I’m currently unable to claim the rewards I’m entitled to.
Could you please look into this and provide an update?

Not sure when you did it. But if you have your information set to be for Canada it should be going through. They said it’s a priority. It checks at least once a day for an invite if it’s ready. Just make sure you have chosen your country to be Canada, your device is Canada, and you’re actually in Canada. (It uses country choice, device locale, and your IP to check what country you’re in)
There’s not really anything to do to expedite things at this time. Overall just is patience.
It’s been well over a month, essentially since the day Uphold announced its withdrawal from Canada. I’ve reset my Brave Rewards account, set my country to Canada, completed the survey before it was discontinued, and even tried manually signing up for early access.
Despite following all the necessary steps, I’ve received no follow-up and still can’t claim my rewards. Frankly, it’s disappointing that Brave hasn’t implemented a clear or effective solution. Requiring users to jump through hoops and dig through community threads just to find answers is the opposite of user-friendly. I can only imagine how many others, who aren’t actively involved in these forums, are silently facing the same problem. With a user base of around 78 million, Brave’s handling of this issue feels more like a disorganized startup than a mature product.
In the same boat, transferred out my Uphold balance. Now there is no way to unlink rewards to Uphold, and no option to do anything with Brave Rewards. I guess it’s time to just go back to using Chrome or Edge with an adblocker. Brave must be thinking Emperor Donald is going to annex Canada so why waste time on anything…
