Can't add device in sync chain

Can’t add an android mobile to sync chain.
Tried to add via qr code but it didn’t work.
And when I Used code words it doesn’t go forward after acknowledging the prompt of trusting the device. When I try again to add device in sync, there shows like it’s a part of a chain but it shows ‘loading devices’ where it should be listed devices but it stuck there. It never showed the devices there. Then it says add another device and shows QR code and code words option like it’s a part of a sync chain but it isn’t.
I’m already using brave on an android but couldn’t add another device to its sync chain.
Tried to add my laptop too by using code words then it shows like it’s added. It shows ‘sync everything’ and ‘custom sync’ option but it also doesn’t show in sync chain. Tried to reinstall the browser in new devices but nothing happens.
Brave version of new and old android device is 1.77.100
Old device has the sync chain.

Go ahead and delete your Sync chain and start fresh. In my opinion, the easiest way to do this would be to:

  1. Start the Sync chain on your laptop (Settings -> Sync --> Start a new Sync chain)
  2. Select “laptop”, then click OK when you see the code words
  3. On your Laptop still, go to Settings --> Sync --> Managed Synced devices
  4. Click View Sync code then View QR Code
  5. Now open Brave on your Android device, go to Settings --> Sync
  6. Tap Scan or enter Sync code
  7. Scan the QR code you displayed on your laptop in step 4 with your Android device

My android device is primary device. If I start chain in laptop then I will need to delete Chain from android, right? Then I will need to add that android to laptop. If I do this will my browser data be safe?

Yes, your data will be safe. Nothing will be deleted locally.
