Cannot verify creator account

EDIT: I originally did not upload the file correctly. Now that I have, I am now getting the following error:

Retry Verification

Your website,, was not verified because we could not find the token in your public file. Please make sure the verification token is present in the public file

However, when I copy/paste the link into my browser I can see the token is there.

Hello, I had a previously verified creator account, but I had lost my 2FA, so cancelling that meant I had to re-verify my creator account.

I followed the steps to add the verification.txt into the .well-known folder, however it gives me this each time I try to verify:

Retry Verification

“Your website,, was not verified because HTTPS is not enabled. Please enable HTTPS on your domain, or choose another verification method.”

I do have https enabled on my domain.

I can’t use the DNS verification method as my DNS points somewhere else (to my ad network).

I’m on Mac OS 10.15.7 and have installed the latest Brave update:
Version 1.37.109 Chromium: 100.0.4896.60 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Hi @alissamccaw. I had exactly the same issue connecting to our website a few weeks ago. It seemed to fix itself about an hour later, perhaps (I am guessing) with the next server update by the website host? Might be worth checking again in a while?

I am also getting the following error when trying to verify my Gemini account: Error: Brave Rewards profile is flagged
