Cannot sign in to various sites since yesterday

Since yesterday afternoon I am unable to sign into my accounts on a number of sites using Brave, although they work fine in Chrome. Has something changed in Brave?
When presented with login on these sites, I enter my username and password as usual, click sign in, then instead of progressing I view a revolving circle next to the signing in button and there it hangs. Same problem on at least 4-sites so far.

How can this issue be reproduced?

Thank you for the response.
The issue appears to have solved itself. This morning, the 3-sites I was having problems with, all let me proceed with login.
