Cannot select saved credentials

Description of the issue:

When I visit a site and click on the username/password field, the brave password box pops up with suggested credentials from previous saved logins.

None of the suggested credentials are clickable. The only option is to swipe it away and manually enter creds, or click manage passwords

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to website for which creds have been previously saved
  2. Try to select suggested creds

*Expected result:

It should populate the fields with the creds

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Brave 1.65.114, Chromium 124.0.6367.60

Mobile Device details

New phone Motorola edge plus 2020. Sync everything selected.

I have this same behaviour too.
Really annoying but it makes the iOS version pretty unusable with sites that require a login. Super annoying to have to go and lookup the password to then copy/paste it across. This is made even more difficult because the password manager is buried within the settings function rather than just one tap away.

edit: issue has now been fixed in the new update

Im on android and Im having the same issue lately, unable to interact with the stored login credentials popup for each given site , so I’m unable to select the current stored login and password that is presented to me to enable the login to said site

Same here autofill box appears but I am unable to interact with it

Well, that certainly makes me feel better. At least I’m not going nuts.

How do we flag this so it gets the attention of those most likely to be able to fix it?
