Description
When using Brave browser with Xero.com accounts I am unable to download PDF copies of invoices.
Clicking the “Print PDF” button within an invoice opens a new window displaying an error:
PDF.js v2.0.673 (build: 31012570)
“Unexpected server response (500) while retrieving PDF “https://go.xero.com/AccountsReceivable/InvoiceDownloader.aspx?PrintJobId=2925177”.”
This seems to be similar to a previously closed Bug:

Additional Information
Originally reported with a different error message “Invalid or corrupted PDF” as:
@dknewton I have verified 0.59.35, 0.60.23 and 0.60.34- In all these versions PDF works fine. I have downloaded PDF from the link https://spark.att.com/5g-white-papers
Also, i tried downloading invoice PDF’s from banking website, able to download and view PDF’s without any issues.
Please download latest version and try again, revert back if you see the same issue.
Thanks!
Hi - thanks for testing.
I can download the PDF from the link you have provided no problem.
But the problem persists inside the Xero.com application, with the same error.
I’ve updated to:
Version 0.60.45 Chromium: 72.0.3626.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Message: Unexpected server response (500) while retrieving PDF
When I tried from a banking site (anz.com) the error code was “Invalid PDF structure” instead.
I’m assuming it as something to do with the credentials behind a secure site.
