Description of the issue:
For the past week, Brave browser will sometimes start and sometimes it won’t and extensions crash. Web pages often have to be reloaded. For the past couple of days, the browser is blank when I open it (screenshot included) and there are no options when I right-click on the icon except for ‘Brave browser’ and ‘unpin from task bar’. (screenshot included). I cannot access settings.

When the issue came up, I started with removing any browser extensions I don’t use, disabled the rest added them back one by one and restarted the browser. Issues continued off and on, then I started having issues with websites and had to reload the page. I checked my disk space and it was low, so I deleted some things and now I have 40gb but it didn’t resolve the issue. RAM runs fairly low but does get up to around 80% at times. For the past two days the browser has been blank. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser but the blank screen remained. This morning I was saving a pdf to my computer. I have pdfs set to open in Brave and when it opened, the browser opened up and my profile was there. I tested it and there were still some issues such as most sites will open but some sites will not. For example, Facebook. When I click on the shortcut or type into into the browser window, it just disappears and nothing happens. I still have to reload some pages. If I close the browser, I can open it back up by opening a pdf. My profile is missing if I click the browser icon. I included a screenshot of the Brave icon pinned to my taskbar (left in screenshot) and the icon of the Brave icon I opened when I opened a pdf (right).

I can access my profile if I open a pdf but it’s still unstable. Sometimes nothing happens if I click on settings, history, extensions, etc and sometimes they will open and sometimes not. I might click on settings and it will not open but if I close the browser, it might open next time. It’s not that everything will or won’t open. It’s random. Settings may open but extensions won’t etc. and sometimes everything will open. The extensions seem to work but I do have them all disabled right now. The issues with settings, extensions, etc. is still the same with them opening sometimes and sometimes not. I can still only open Brave if I click to open a pdf. Most of the time, the pdf does not display and the screen is either white and blank or gray with a frowning icon (screenshot included).
Expected result:
Profiles will work and browser will open and run all websites unless there is an issue with the website itself.
Reproduces how often:
I can’t open Brave at all from the Brave desktop icon 100% of the time. I can if I open a pdf but a few websites won’t open or the page has to be reloaded to work and access to settings is sporadic.

I hope I’ve covered everything! I’m not sure what else to try and I didn’t see anything similar in the forum with the browser opening without a blank screen if you open a pdf.
