Cannot login to my superannuation provider using Brave

When I go to the website of my superannuation provider, click the login button, and enter my login details, I get a perpetually spinning circle hourglass. I can see behind the hourglass that it has logged me in, as my account details are showing in a grayed out manner, and I can scroll the grayed out webpage with the mouse wheel, but the hourglass never disappears and I can’t use the website. Same problem on a different PC with Brave also installed. Login to same website on either PC works fine with either Firefox or Chrome.

To reproduce:

  1. Open URL
  2. Click on login button and enter login details

Actual result: login never completes

Expected result: login completes and I can access my account.

Reproduces how often: every time

Brave version 0.68.132 Chromium: 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10 x64 build 1903.

Additional Information: my wife has exactly the same problem on her PC when trying to login to her account at the same provider using Brave, and has no problem logging in with Chrome.
