I am unable to log into developer.oculus.com using Facebook authentication. I have “Allow Facebook logins and embedded posts” turned on in brave://settings/socialBlocking
I have Shields turned off and uBlock Origin disabled.
I am able to reproduce this consistently using the following steps:
- Go to https://developer.oculus.com/
- Click “Sign In”. This takes you to https://auth.oculus.com/login/?redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.oculus.com%2F&from_devhome_upsell
- Click “Log In with Facebook”. This takes you to https://www.facebook.com/v3.1/dialog/oauth?app_id=stuff_here
The page says, “Oculus would like to access your Facebook account” - Click on “Continue as Justin” (or whatever your Facebook name is)
This loads https://www.facebook.com/v3.2/dialog/oauth/skip/submit/ and then takes me back to https://auth.oculus.com/login/?redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.oculus.com%2F&from_devhome_upsell&code=some_code_here (note an extra code at the end of the URL), but I am not authenticated.
It should take me back to Oculus and Oculus should accept the authentication and load my profile. This works as expected on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox.
I am using:
Windows 10 Pro 20H2 (19042.685), Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0
Brave Version 1.18.75 Chromium: 87.0.4280.101 (Official Build) (64-bit)
