Cannot Access NHC Website on Brave Desktop

Description of the issue:
Cannot access the NHC website ( https://nhc.noaa.gov ) with the desktop version of Brave on Mac OS.

Error message given:

This site can’t be reached

nhc.noaa.gov refused to connect.

Try:

  • Checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Launch Brave on a computer running Mac OS
  2. Visit nhc.noaa.gov

Expected result:
Should be able to access the website

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.57.57

Additional Information:
The issue persists in a Private window and with all browser extensions disabled. I am not running a proxy.
