Can’t log into Google account in Brave--again

I had this issue in the past and resolved it but now it’s not working again. I tried following the same steps as last time with no luck.

The problem started after I cleared my cache!

This is even a different tablet, an S6, same problem. Different Brave and Android version too. 1.35.101, 98.0.4758.87. Android 11. I turned off the adblocker, even.
