Can no longer press for copy on iPad OS Brave Version 1.48.1 (23.3.2.0)

Since the release of Brave Version 1.48.1 (23.3.2.0), I have been unable to copy a link to the clipboard memory on iPadOS 15.6.1.

This bug is critical and devastating, as without the simple ability to copy a link off a page to the clipboard , I’ll be unable to continue using Brave browser.

Also, fwiw, I just discovered right now that the community forums comment editor only renders properly in iPad mobile Safari in vertical orientation and is difficult to use in horizontal orientation, as the comment editor window shrinks to hide what I am typing in horizontal orientation.

I only ever use private browsing mode.

However, I have isolated the problem to certain circumstances. The problem persists only when using VPN on certain sites. These sites allow me to press and hold to copy link when not using VPN.

The workaround I have come up with is to use a bookmarked javascript applet :
