I recently tried using Uphold as a creator and user of the Brave Software and Brave Rewards. I set up everything correctly and, then, all of a sudden, Uphold decides to deactivate my wallet/account for absolutely no reason. Or at least they don’t let anyone know of the reasoning behind something like this. I feel that there is an option for Japan’s own wallet, but the other two that are American based (Uphold and Gemini) cannot accommodate for other countries such as Brazil, and probably Latin American countries. Brave says Uphold is supported for Brazil, but they did not allow me to purchase Bitcoin, or to deposit any of my balance into a Brazilian bank, only an American one. So, in fact, Uphold is not supported in Brazil either, same as Gemini.
So here we arrive at my question… Can Brave be more inclusive of residents of Brazil when dealing with Rewards and BATs?
Edit: In addition, the Bank of Brazil just started allowing residents of Brazil to use the Bitfy App (a Brazilian Crypto Wallet) to pay crypto and other related taxes. It is the trusted Wallet in Brazil as of right now.
