Description of the issue:
When printing a pdf with Brave’s built-in PDF viewer, it is converted to an image before printing. This image is often at a lower DPI than the printer can print, causing quality issues.
Brave’s built-in pdf viewer should send vector information directly the printer.
Reproduces how often:
Operating System and Brave Version:
Windows 10, build 1903. Brave version 0.67.125
Download all PDFs and open them in the system viewer. This seems simple, but is actually very problematic. Some web applications generate pdf’s as a print feature. They then automatically trigger a print. If you close out of the print window to download the pdf, the pdf window closes. You could set the browser’s pdf handler to force download, but there are other web apps who inject pdfs into iframes on the site, which you now have to download to even see.
