Bug: interface freezes after Notification Center, Lock Screen

Description of the issue:

For several months now, I’ve noticed a bug when using the iOS version of Brave that didn’t exist before. If, while using the browser, the user either A) drags down from the top of the screen to access the Notification Center or B) locks the phone, the Brave interface will freeze and become unusable. The only solution I’ve found is to manually quit the app and restart it.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave to a webpage
  2. Swipe down to get the Notification Center / Lock the phone using the side button
  3. Swipe up to go back to Brave / Unlock the phone
  4. Try to scroll or otherwise interact with the webpage

Expected result:

Interaction produces a visual change in the interface after returning to the browser.

I am using an iPhone 14; same iOS version; same BB version. I have not encountered your issue.

For persistant BB issues in the past, I have done:

Prior to the complete removal of BB, I export the bookmarks. That “Bookmarks.html” file plus all data from the Files[app] > Brave[folder] . . . are copied to another folder that I created and use for data backup: Files[app] > BKUP[folder] on the iPhone.

From that backup storage, I can restore the bookmarks and data.
