BUG: entering an upper case letter after # results in a search with the lower letter equivalent

I am using mac os and the latest version of brave. When I tried to enter this link (by hand, mainly the #Category part):

brave automatically lowered the capital C after # and the resulting link is:

However if the link is embedded to some text it is not “lowerized”.

To reproduce the issue

  1. Copy this link: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/jql-fields/
  2. Add #Category (which should open the site to the specific sub-location)
  3. Watch the link bar as brave transforms the link

The expected outcome is the link not being edited especially a part that is case-sensitive
