Description of the issue:
I recently figured out the “backward button” doen not work on Youtube.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Open any youtube videos,
wait for it to finish/drag progress bar to finish it
let it auto play to next vid(do not press next button on the player)
When it’s already the second vid, press the Backward button on the browser
(Yes, that one on the top left corner)
You will notice the actual link went back, yet the video is still the second one

Hello there @lardass please accept my apologies for this issue. On this case try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue. You’ll find this in brave://settings/system > Use hardware acceleration when available > toggle it off > relaunch Brave.
@lardass Could you please try opening your main profile in private or guest mode to see if the button works? If it does, try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.
You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menu → Open Guest window:
On your computer, open Brave.
At the top right, click Menu → More tools → Extensions.
On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
Confirm by clicking Remove.
