Browseraudit.com - cookie set by JavaScript should not be sent over HTTP

hi.

i tested brave through browseraudit.com and the browser got the critical error:

cookie set by JavaScript should not be sent over HTTP

i’m using brave on linux, and this is the version info:
Version 1.7.98 Chromium: 81.0.4044.113 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)

is this something you are aware of? as a brave user, should you worry?

The main reason for me asking is that I’m working on an online course on security and privacy. I’ve been looking into different browsers and in terms of functionality and ease of use Brave ended on top of my list. However, it’s worrisome that the browser has a critical error using the above mentioned service. Hence, I would really appreciate some feedback from the developers of this browser on this topic.

I tried again, with the latest version, Version 1.8.85 Chromium: 81.0.4044.122 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit). Unfortunately, I got the same result as the previous run:
cookie set by JavaScript should not be sent over HTTP

I can’t recommend a browser with a critical flaw according to BrowserAudit when I don’t even get feedback from the community.
