Browser window moves unexpectedly

When I click save to download a file, the browser window drops about 1cm on screen
I have disabled all the window move options in Mission Control - no effect

MacOS 10.15.7 on Macbook Pro (Retina. mid 2012)
Version 1.48.158 Chromium: 110.0.5481.77 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Hello there @JohnBennett, try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this changes this behavior.

To disable Hardware Acceleration through the macOS terminal. Follow the instructions below:

Open the Terminal and enter this command: open -a "Brave browser.app" --args --disable-gpu

Let me know if that works.
